Well, Ecclesiastes doesn’t come too often in the lectionary cycles and an over-the-top ordinary book like Ecclesiastes merits an over-the-top extraordinary sermon blurb. More importantly, as Christians, you deserve the opportunity to come to terms with what the Christian life truly looks and feels like extraordinarily ordinary, in an over-the-top sort of way.
