WORSHIP SERVICES
At this time we are offering one worship service each Sunday morning at 9:00 am.
- - - - - - -
For the comfort of all visitors and members, we offer two styles of worship.
1st, 3rd, and 5th Sundays - Contemporary
This service is beautiful blend of modern music with classic elements of worship. You can expect the service to feel comfortable with music that's familiar.
2nd and 4th Sundays- Traditional
This service is presented in our traditional settings with hymns and ancient liturgical forms. The service and music come directly from the hymnal of the LCMS - the Lutheran Service Book.
Holy Communion
We celebrate Holy Communion every week during our worship services. We invite those desiring to be guests at the Lord’s Table who:
-
Believe Jesus Christ is their Lord and Savior. More information
-
Believe that in, with, and under the bread and wine they receive the true body and blood of Christ. More information
-
Confess their sin, seek the assurance of forgiveness, and intend, with God’s help, to amend their sinful life. Why do we do this?
The ushers will direct people forward to the altar rail. Red wine is offered in the small cups in the tray. Alcohol-free white grape juice is available in the cups in the center of the tray. Young children or those not desiring to receive the bread and wine will receive a blessing from the pastor. Simply cross your arms over your chest at the rail.
What do I wear to church?
If this is a last-minute decision to come to church, then come as you are.
We strive to be both respectful and comfortable. We recognize that we are in God's very real presence and that some of us just got off work. Some of us dress to the nines, others arrive in a comfortable pair of jeans, and some are still in their work uniforms. We will be glad to have you.
