YOUTH MINISTRIES
The youth ministry programs at King of Kings use education, fellowship, and service to help young people learn about their Savior Jesus Christ while supporting them through the transitional time of middle school and high school.
Middle School Ministry (5th grade through 8th grade)
Where We Elevate our Relationship with God
Making connections is what our Middle School Ministry is all about. Sunday morning classes give the kids a chance to explore their faith and learn about God. Middle school youth also meet for fellowship events about once a month. These events vary from a youth game night to a Youth Quakes. Once a month during the Sunday morning education hour middle school students participate in a service project which supports the church, our community, or our world.
To further grow in relationship to God, Confirmation classes are also offered for sixth through eighth grade students. Students participate in unique activities such as weekend youth gatherings which supplement the in-depth exploration of the Bible and faith in Christ.
Confirmation Class
Grades 7-8 are learning the basics of what Christians believe in our Confirmation class. Over the course of 2 years they will study the Bible, Luther's Small Catechism, and church history to better understand they faith they were given in their baptisms. If you would like more information or to enroll, please contact the church office.
High School Ministry (9th grade through 12th grade)
Where We Echo God's Love Into the World
How is God’s Word relevant in today’s world? Our high schoolers explore this question through discussion, social and servant events. The events vary from group meals, local fellowship events, to overnight youth gatherings and servant events.
